They shall grow not old

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. From Laurence Binyon’s poem For the Fallen, written in September 1914 (The full poem, For the Fallen, is printed in both Minds at War and Out of the Dark. Binyon’s poemNow in thy Splendour is also printed in Minds at War.)
