The charity workout of the day is Crossfit “Hope”

“Hope”

Three rounds of:
Burpees
75 pound Power snatch
Box jump, 24″ box
75 pound Thruster
Chest to bar Pull-ups

“Hope” has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of “rotate,” the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.

Drop in for non-CFK members will be $20. Proceeds go towards the charity total.

Charity Background:

CrossFit for Hope will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The goal is to raise 1.7MM world wide – one day’s operating cost for St. Jude – to combat childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. Register to participate or find an athlete or affiliate to sponsor and join the fight.

We will have accepting donations to pool for CFK as a gym on the morning of the 16th. You can also get involved and learn more by visiting http://hope.crossfit.com/
